Good evening, I am the great Li Po, known as a great poet born around 701 A.D. into a great place known as the Tang Dynasty. The Tang Dynasty was one of the greatest in Chinese history, and I am proud to be born into its many accomplishments. I will now share my knowledge about this empire.
Here are some of the poems created by me, they bring me pride of throughout my life: Autumn River Song, Waterfall at Lu-Shan, She Spins Silk, Clearing at Dawn, Drinking Alone, and many more.
The Tang Dynasty began around the years of 618 A.D., and followed right after the Sui Dynasty right before us. The capitol of this dynasty is Chang'an, and it built many canals which were good for transportation of both goods and was helpful for communications with others. A few years after the Tang Dynasty began, the Tang code came into it all around the year of 624 A.D. It was very important because it was the first Chinese laws and punishments for crimes that were done. The Buddhist Wu Chao was the female emperor for this dynasty from a few years after I was born in the years of 710-755 A.D., and ruled through the golden age. Another thing that was important during this time was farming, considering that the rice production was very important here. Due to expansion, the Tang Dynasty was considered the greatest power in Asia, and hopefully it will stay this way.
I appreciate your wonder in the great Tang Dynasty,
Sincerely,
Li Po
